Agriculture & Natural Resources in Monroe County
Monroe is not a large county in terms of acreage compared to other counties of the state. We have approximately 292,700 acres in the county and 95.9 percent or 280,700 are used in forestry and agricultural production. Diverse would be a good term to use when you look at the agricultural production of Monroe County.
