OSU Extension applies cutting-edge research, knowledge and innovations to improve local businesses and the communities they serve. Our economic, small business and job development programs are tailored to local community needs in every county, whether metropolitan, rural or a combination.
Mary Jo Westfall has been very succesful in writing and receiving CDBG and CHIP grants for the county and many projects for local townships. Over the past 14 years she has been able to bring in $6,882,200 for county and township improvements. She has also been involved in helping with NRA grants to help fund our local Shooting Sports Club and is in the process of finding funds to help improve STEM involvement at 4-H Camp Piedmont.
